The National Center for Youth in Custody (NC4YC) provides a full array of technical assistance and support services to state, county, local and tribal entities for delinquent and at-risk youth. The technical assistance may be provided on- or off-site and include an assessment of needs, strategic intervention planning and coordinated delivery of assistance.
NC4YC technical assistance includes referrals via telephone and/or email, provision of publications (training materials, guides, policies, evidence-based programs and directories of providers), on-line webinar training and learning forums to connect practitioners, researchers and others engaged in work related to youth in custody. The technical assistance may include an on-site consultation by an individual or team of responders.
All technical assistance responses will be customized to meet the specific needs of the individual requesting help. NC4YC will work closely to design a technical assistance plan that will achieve the intended immediate results and be sustainable beyond NC4YC involvement.
